How to get motivated for any workout!

We’ve all been there… good intentions of staying on track with our workouts but life finds its way in.

Schedules change.
You’ve been up all night with a sick little one.
The house is a mess.

I could go on….

They say it takes 21 day to build a habit.

We’ve heard it time and time again. But what builds up those 21 days?

What keeps you motivated to make that habit stick when life is changing constantly around you?

For me, it’s the ten minute rule.

We can all do anything for ten minutes right? I use this mentality for all my workouts. I commit to ten minutes of working out. Simply ten.

If in ten minutes, I just can’t get in the mood to workout or truly don’t have the energy, then today is not the day for me.

However, it’s rare that this happens because once those ten minutes pass, I’m in my groove and moving forward with my workout.

I continue that mindset every day I feel I am “too busy” or “too tired to get me workout in.

I wanted to pass that rule along to you as well in case you find yourself not so motivated to get that workout in today.

Focus on the rule of ten.

Get out there and make it happen!
